Closing as not planned. The org went the other way today: codehaus-plexus/.github#73 removed the shared site.yml reusable workflow and plexus-utils#337 removed its only caller, so there is no workflow to extend to this repository.

The reasoning, now recorded in RELEASING.md: publishing puts content live with no review step, and Maven site builds break often enough — doxia, site plugin and JDK interactions — that the person publishing should see the output first. That applies here more than anywhere else, since this repository serves the retired container documentation, where every URL has to survive untouched.

Sites are published from a local checkout with the command in RELEASING.md.
